This is the last place that I would ever wish for someone to end up. This path is lonely. This path breaks you down. Something happens. Something changes in you. You cannot pass through this door and ever go back to being who you were before. Welcome to my story. I'm hopeful that through my sharing you can find validation, support, a new outlook on living, and even more importantly, a new outlook on dying.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jesse Kuhn, an artist, entrepreneur, husband, and father is forced onto the razors edge of life as he walks the path of cancer with his wife from beginning to the end, and beyond.
When Lindsay died in his arms at the age of 39 and the energy that once animated her body shifted from being concentrated within her to being everywhere Jesse was forced to fully stand before the terror of death and lean into the great mystery of what happens next.
As he travels the full spectrum of emotions that accompany this journey, much reflection is given on each stage in an effort to support and empower those that have been forced to walk a similar path.
This glimpse into the life, love, and struggle of Lindsay and Jesse as they navigate the tender path of the cancer journey gives the reader more permission to fully lean in and embrace all the sticky parts of life.
